About Me

Cameron Lee Small, MS, LPCC

In 2012, Cam located and met his Korean mother in Seoul after a five-year search. The critical support from adoptee community during that season spurred his decision to walk with others while they too explore and process their intersecting identities. Cam went on to direct Holt International’s summer camp in 2014 and throughout the past decade has been involved with organizations such as Camp Choson, Catholic Charities, and Families Through Korean Adoption. He currently serves in the Twin Cities as a licensed professional clinical counselor for individuals and families on the adoption and permanency spectrum. Cam is additionally focused on helping people adopted transracially flourish and be challenged in their own adoption stories as he develops conversations on psychology, theology, and pop-culture here at Therapy Redeemed. He embraces growth in much grace as husband to Yifan, and father to Cara (1yr) and Kaitlyn (15yr). Thanks so much for being here!
