“but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
Every adoptee on the planet needs access to someone who gets it; to help them run and not grow weary, to walk and not be faint.
The good news is you’ve already got strength.
And I want to help renew it SO THAT you would press on toward the incredible goals you were meant to achieve.

Your Guide Through the Complexities of Adoption
Cam, trans-racially adopted from Korea, holds a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a licensed professional clinical counselor. In addition, he is trained in biblical counseling, certified in non-violent crisis intervention and is a member of the American Psychological Association’s Minority Fellowship Program. He currently provides clinical mental health services in Minneapolis, MN, for individuals and families on the adoption and permanency spectrum.
In 2012, Cam located and met his Korean mother in Seoul after a five-year search. The critical support from adoptee community during that season spurred his decision to walk with others while they too explore and process their intersecting identities. Cam went on to direct Holt International’s summer camp in 2014 and throughout the past decade has been involved with organizations such as Camp Choson, Catholic Charities, and Families Through Korean Adoption.
Cam is currently focused on inspiring and encouraging people in their own adoption stories as he develops conversations on psychology, theology, and pop-culture here at Therapy Redeemed. He embraces growth in much grace as husband to Yifan, and father to Cara (1yr) and Kaitlyn (15yr). Thank you so much for being here!
Questions or comments? He’d love to hear from you.
